This is the best thing I've found on the internet yet.
"The curious task of economics is to demonstrate to men how little they really know about what they imagine they can design."--F.A. Hayek

Thomas Friedman, horse's ass
Exemplified perfectly here. Money quote:
One-party autocracy certainly has its drawbacks. But when it is led by a reasonably enlightened group of people, as China is today, it can also have great advantages.

Crickets, Again
I've been very quiet around here for a bunch of reasons. I'm taking classes to finish my degree. A little tough with two kids and trying to keep a business afloat. I've also spent most free time on facebook.
I'm also over-doing it with reading. A current reading list will be up soon as well
I've had thoughts large and small (mostly small) on much of the goings on in the world. I hope to add more here over time, so here's a new post.
A very decent article by Paul Krugman. How over-simplifies many facets of both Keynes and what he refers to as "freshwater" economists and the article is more than a little tendentious (which, for Krugman, is a fantastic improvement over his quotidian obnoxiousness).
I'll let the article speak for itself.
Nod to Greg Mankiw.
